Ethically sourced and responsibly curated products

Aei…miles to go before I sleep!

It is a general human tendency to wait for someone to initiate a change and others to follow suit. It’s time, we start making that change. At Aei, we don’t intend to do anything drastically different; we don’t need to. As traditionally the process flow that was laid down was almost flawless. Over time, we have implemented, improvised and mis-interpreted the process flow as per our requirements and compromised the entire matrix.

We want to go back to the drawing board, start from the scratch by scratching out the grey areas, the bottlenecks in the work flow which are either non productive or are non effective. We are constantly picking out the grey areas, always finding ways to increase efficiency, reduce wastage and use natural reusable and recyclable items, be it in our products or in our trims our packing.

We intend to use less paper in our packing and trims. Use only what is necessary for the upkeep of a product. Reduce and eliminate plastic or PVC from our products.

We also plan to plant 1000 trees by 2026 and encourage people to stand against deforestation. Hold online workshops to educate people build sustainable homes.

We want to create a sustainable work culture, where the reiteration rate is less than 1%. We don’t feel happy working with an unhappy team; as personnel satisfaction will lead to great products and happy customers.

We are already making products which are ethically sourced; skins and fabrics which are naturally sourced, processed using non hazardous chemicals, complete traceability right up to the farm. We aim to reach a stage where instead of chemicals we process our raw materials using natural extracts and dyes.

We want to work with only and actually socially compliant and socially responsible manufacturing facilities. Where employees are given fair wages and a conducive working environment.

Our social responsibility is very high and we don’t want to compromise on the same. We want to do business but not with a “cut throat” competition attitude. We don’t want to have an objective where we race towards earning millions, compromising on our beliefs through the entire course.

If change is inevitable; WE need to make the change!
